Holy naming game, Batman! I got sooooo many great suggestions for Liam’s last name, it was tough, tough, TOUGH to pick just one. (On the bright side, I have oodles of awesome surnames for future characters…)
Some folks emailed me privately with their ideas while I got a few others via Facebook. I managed to whittle the list down to ten finalists:
Kristoff which was suggested by Jacci; Michaels which came from D’Ann (simple, I know, but geez Liam Michaels has a nice ring, don’tcha think?); O’Reilly from Melissa Keir; Boden-Clay from Mary Preston; Cavanaugh from Brandi; St. James from Mariposa Cruz (Brandi also suggested James, but I liked having the St. in front to make it two syllables); Blackwood (again simple, but goes well with Liam) from Kathy Wheeler; Cleary from Meggan; Devlin from Jannine and finally Savage (via FB) from Heather.
See what I mean? TOUGH! But after writing the names out, saying them out loud and asking my hubby his opinion, here are the top five:

#4= Devlin from Jannine
#3= Savage from Heather
Which leaves Cavanaugh from Brandi and St. James from Mariposa as the top two choices for Liam’s new last name.
Big breath and drumroll please…. Liam ST. JAMES!
